Ant-Man: Combat Training

Marvel

Role Developer
Core Tech JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas, CreateJS

Ant-Man Combat Training was a licensed Marvel game developed for the DisneyNOW platform and supporting web experiences. Players entered a combat simulator alongside Ant-Man, using timing, reflexes, and size-changing abilities to navigate obstacles and survive as long as possible while chasing high scores. As the sole developer on the project, I was responsible for building the entire game from the ground up. Working closely with artists and designers, I implemented gameplay systems, user interfaces, animation integration, scoring systems, audio, tutorials, and platform-specific requirements. The project was built using HTML5 Canvas technologies and optimized for Disney's browser and app distribution channels. The result was a polished branded experience that combined arcade-style gameplay with Marvel storytelling while maintaining strong performance across supported devices.
